Max Perlich

Max Perlich (born March 28, 1968 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is an American actor .

Life and accomplishments

Perlich's father worked for the Los Angeles- based radio station KUSC FM, and his mother was a teacher. Max Perlich made his debut in the comedy Ferris macht blau from 1986. For the role in the drama Drugstore Cowboy (1989), in which he played alongside Matt Dillon , he was awarded the Independent Spirit Award in 1990. For the role in the drama Georgia (1995), in which he starred alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh and Mare Winningham , he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in 1996. From 1995 to 1997 he appeared in the television series Homicide . In the biopic Blow (2001) he played on the side of Johnny Depp .

Perlich was married to the actress Jia Perlich, from whom he now lives separately. He lives in Los Angeles.
