The Power of Money is an American comedy released in 2000 . Directed by Kenny Griswold .

The four friends Thad, Woody, Robert and Michael bet they are going to a town where none of the men knows anyone. Everyone should make as much money as possible with starting capital of $ 100. Whoever earns the most money in a month wins.

Woody organizes bike tours. He hurts himself again and again. A lesbian colleague falls in love with him and accuses him of not letting anyone get near him. Finally, he tells her about his sad childhood.

Michael works as a waiter. He drinks too much alcohol and upset women. Michael is beaten in the restaurant by the husband of one of the women. He ends up in the hospital, where a friend tells him that he has been discharged for being drunk. He later attends the sessions of the Alcoholics Anonymous therapy group.

Robert trades tickets to events on the black market. He thinks he'll win the bet, but then he loses all the money. His friends comfort him.
