The Seven Seas Mariner is a cruise ship operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises (until 2006 Radisson Seven Seas Cruises). According to the shipping company, the Seven Seas Mariner is the first cruise ship in the world to exclusively have suites with private balconies (“all suite - all balcony” concept).

history

The Seven Seas Mariner was built at the French shipyard Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire and entered service on March 1, 2001 under the flag of France . In November 2006 the change to the shipping register of the Bahamas took place . The home port has been Nassau since then .

The Seven Seas Mariner has a pod drive type Rolls-Royce "Mermaid". Just like the Millennium class ships built at the same time by Chantiers de l'Atlantique and equipped with the same propulsion system , the Seven Seas Mariner initially had considerable problems with this propulsion system.

The cruise ship has twelve decks, eight of which are passenger decks. In 2009 the ship was completely renovated.

Furnishing

The cabin equipment includes a living area with seating area, marble bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet and a walk-in closet with safe. The size of the rooms varies between 23.5 m² plus a 4.5 m² balcony in the Deluxe Veranda Suites and 112 m² plus 74 m² balconies in the Master Suites.

In addition to the Compass Rose Restaurant , where dinner is taken in one sitting, there are three other first-class restaurants - the Prime 7 , the French-oriented Signatures and the La Veranda . Other on-board facilities include the sun deck with outdoor swimming pool, three whirlpools, the pool bar with grill, a fitness club, a golf driving range and the Constellation Theater.

Areas of application

The Seven Seas Mariner will be deployed in North America and South America in the 2018 and 2019 seasons .
