Sevyn Streeter (born July 7, 1986 in Haines City , Florida ; real name Amber Streeter ) is an American R&B singer and songwriter.

biography

In 2002, music producer Chris Strokes put together an R&B band and took Amber Streeter into it. However, only one single TG4 survived . After a disappointing number 88 on the R&B charts, a completed album was never released. Then Rich Harrison brought her into the band RichGirl, which he supervised . After an unsuccessful single, this project also failed and Streeter, who had taken on the stage name Seven or Se7en during this time, was again without a band.

Then she switched to songwriting successfully. She was involved in several hits, including New Day by 50 Cent , The Way of Ariana Grande and Yeah 3X by Chris Brown . With Brown she also recorded two songs for his album Fortune . Finally she received a solo record deal from Atlantic in 2012 and produced her first single, I Like It . After all, it made it into the top 50 on the R&B charts. The second single It Won't Stop was created this time with the support of Chris Brown and with that she achieved a greater success in 2013, which reached number 30 in the official single charts. A first EP called Call Me Crazy, But ... was then successfully placed in the charts. In 2015 she contributed with How Bad Do You Want It (Oh Yeah) to the soundtrack of the seventh part of The Fast and the Furious series.
