Sewah-en-Re Senebmiu was an ancient Egyptian king ( pharaoh ) of the Second Intermediate Period (from around 1780 to around 1550 BC). Its exact classification is uncertain.

supporting documents

The name Sewah-en-Re appears in the list of kings of Karnak , on a scarab and on a wooden stick, which was found as an addition in the grave of the “king's acquaintance” and “head of the marshland” Senebni, who was given to this official by the ruler and carries a royal dedication. The maiden name of the ruler Senebmiu can be found on the fragment of a stele made of Gebelein . On the fragment of a small naos from Thebes , the proper name and the throne name are combined.

The position of the ruler within the Second Intermediate Period is uncertain. Mostly he is assigned to the 13th dynasty . In the royal papyrus of Turin , the name of a ruler has been partially preserved ... nre and attempts have been made to identify this document with Sewahenre. This seems possible, but is not mandatory.
