Sexmission (Original title: Seksmisja ) is a Polish science fiction - comedy from the year 1984 . Scientists Max and Albert take part in an experiment and allow themselves to be frozen, only to be thawed again three years later. The experiment succeeds, but instead of waking up after three years of cold sleep, they won't wake up until 2044. The world has since changed radically: women everywhere you look. A war wiped out all men, so the two are the only survivors of their gender. Men are no longer needed for reproduction either, the offspring come out of the test tube. Since the surface of the earth is contaminated by the war, life takes place in underground cities.

In this totalitarian women's state, Max and Albert are considered "archaeological finds", men as unnatural, aggressive primeval beings who have to be forcibly integrated into society. After initial doubts about the new situation, Max believes that he can charm women with his charm. Albert, on the other hand, is less able to deal with the situation and just wants to go free.

In the process that is being brought against them, the jury decided that Max and Albert should be made into "natural beings" (i.e. women) through an operation. However, with the help of Lamia, who has doubted the existing system since their first kiss, forced by Max, the two are able to flee to the surface in protective suits. A geneticist follows them.

As they explore the surface, the four quickly discover that the earth is not as deserted as they were supposed to be. It also turns out that the ruler herself is actually a man in disguise. The two couples decide to bring the world back to "normal" and secretly distribute semen in the fertilization systems. The first boys are born after 9 months.
