Shanglong ( Chinese  上 龙乡 , Pinyin Shànglóng xiāng ) is a municipality in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of Longzhou County , which in turn is subordinate to the prefecture -level city of Chongzuo in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region . Shanglong Municipality administers an area of ​​173 square kilometers with a total population of 18,321 people in 2015. The 2000 population census showed a total population of 21,883 people in 7,435 households, of whom 12,858 men and 9025 women. Mainly Zhuang live in Shanglong .

Shanglong is located in the center of Longzhou County and borders on Shangjin to the east, Wude to the west, Longzhou Municipality to the south and Zhubu to the north . The relief is mainly hilly with some plateaus, it slopes from west to east. The most important mountains are the Longling Shan and the Shancun Shan . Shanglong has 126.6 square kilometers of arable land and a mild subtropical climate with sufficient rainfall and hours of sunshine with an annual average temperature of around 21 ° C. In Shanglong, sugar cane , wet rice , corn , mushrooms and fruits such as jackfruit are mainly grown. The main industries in Shanghai are in the food industry. Shanglong is of regional importance due to its location on the X533 trunk road in the direction of Baoxu and its educational and medical infrastructure.

Shanglong became part of the 5th District of Longzhou in 1951, and in 1958 it was merged with several neighboring communities to form the Wude People's Commune . On August 1, 1987, Shanglong was separated from Wude as a community. Shanglong is divided into eight villages at village level : Xinlian (新 联 村), Wuquan (武 权 村), Minquan (民权 村), Shanglong (上 龙 村), Minqiang (民 强 村), Nongping (弄平 村), Banwang (板 汪 村), Bana (岜 那 村). These include 70 village settlements.
