Wude ( Chinese  武德 乡 , Pinyin Wǔdé xiāng ) is a municipality in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of Longzhou County , which in turn is subordinate to the prefecture -level city of Chongzuo in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region . The municipality of Wude administers a territory of 204 square kilometers with a total population of 20,261 people in 2015. The population census of the year 2000 had a total population of 17,712 people in 4,154 households, of which 9,203 men and 8509 women. The population consists mainly of Zhuang .

Wude is located in the northwest of Longzhou County and borders on Jinlong and Zhubu in the east, Shuikou in the west, Shanglong in the south and Vietnam ( Cao Bong Province ) in the north . The relief is mainly mountainous to hilly and slopes from west to east. The most important mountains are the Batingling Shan and the Baotai Shan . Wude has 21.1 square kilometers of arable land and a mild subtropical climate with sufficient rainfall and hours of sunshine with an average annual temperature of around 21 ° C. Mainly sugar cane , wet rice , corn and fruit are grown in Wude . The main industrial companies in Wude are active in the food industry. Due to its location on provincial road S325 and its educational and medical infrastructure, Wude is of regional importance. The main attraction for visitors is the village of beautiful women in Shuangmeng (金龙 美女 村).

Wude belonged to Shangjin Municipality until 1950 and was spun off as Wude District in 1951. In 1958 Wude was merged with some neighboring communities to form the Wude People's Commune . In 1986 the municipality of Wude was restored. Today, Wude is divided into eight villages at village level : Sanlian (三联 村), Jingwei (精 威 村), Baowei (保卫 村), Nonggan (农 干 村), Kejia (科甲 村), Qunhe (群 合 村), Jinmei (近 梅村), Wude (武德 村). These include 71 village settlements.
