Shannon Brian Moore (born July 27, 1979 in Cameron, North Carolina , USA ), better known by his ring name Shannon Moore , is an American wrestler . He currently appears regularly in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling .
Career
Beginnings / World Championship Wrestling
Moore started with the New Frontier Wrestling Alliance and the Organization Of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA for short) founded by Jeff and Matt Hardy . From 1996 to 1999 he played several matches in both leagues. At OMEGA, Moore was an OMEGA New Frontiers Champion as Kid Dynamo and an OMEGA Light Heavyweight Champion twice.
On January 5, 2000 Moore, together with Evan Karagias , played his first match in World Championship Wrestling (WCW for short). At WCW he feuded with Karagias, Helms and Tank Abbott against Kaz Hayashi , Yang , Jamie-San and The Great Muta . On February 28, 2000 he was allowed to win the WCW Hardcore Championship with Evan Karagias and Shane Helms . The three had to hand this over to Brian Knobbs . Moore and Helms had several matches for the WCW World Tag Team Championship, but were not allowed to win them.
Independent / World Wrestling Entertainment
When the WCW was taken over by the WWE in March 2001, Moore appeared in some independent leagues (e.g. Heartland Wrestling Association or World Xtreme Wrestling ). At Heartland Wrestling Association Moore was allowed to become HWA American Luchacore Champion twice and HWA Tag Team Champion once.
On May 18, 2002 Moore played his first match with the WWE against Jamie Noble . Moore played several matches for the WWE Cruiserweight Title, but was not allowed to win it. He was also allowed to play a title match for the WWE Tag Team Title with Matt Hardy without success. In June 2005, the WWE fired him.
He then played a few matches again in various independent leagues (e.g. AWA Superstars of Wrestling , Carolina Wrestling Federation Mid-Atlantic or International Wrestling Cartel ). On November 15, 2005 he played a dark match at TNA against Chris Sabin . Several matches followed at TNA, where he feuded against AJ Styles .
On April 8, 2006, Moore returned to the WWE. There he feuded with Jimmy Wang Yang against The Miz and John Morrison , the then WWE Tag Team Champions . In August 2008, the WWE released him again.
Independent / Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
Moore again played a few matches in independent leagues. He also appeared on Hogan's Hulkamania Tour .
In March 2010, Moore returned to TNA. There he forms the Ink Inc. tag team together with Jesse Neal.
