Beginnings and WCW
After Gibson was trained by Dean Malenko , he made his professional debut in 1995 in Renegade Championship Wrestling . He then moved to WCW, where he portrayed the masked Jamie-San . He became a member of the Stable Jung Dragons (with Jimmy Yang and Kaz Hayashi) and feuded against the Stable 3 Count ( Shane Helms , Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias ). He then formed a tag team with Karagias , without a mask and as Jamie Knoble .
WWE
Under the name Jamie Noble , he made his SmackDown debut on June 6, 2002 and soon became Cruiserweight Champion to vie for the title with Tajiri and Billy Kidman . On September 15, 2004, Gibson was fired from the WWE for taking testosterone hormones, a doping agent, with an option to return.
Independent area
After his release, he appeared as James Gibson in the leagues New Japan Pro Wrestling, Heartland Wrestling Association, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Italian Championship Wrestling and Ring of Honor. In the latter, he won the RoH World Title on August 12, 2005 against CM Punk , Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels . However, he had to give the title back to Bryan Danielson on September 17 of that year .
Return to the WWE
Jamie Noble returned to WWE on December 17, 2005. A team was formed with Kid Kash called The Pit Bulls . Without much success, the team was separated again when Kash was released on September 27, 2006. After that, Gibson worked almost exclusively as a jobber . In 2007 he started again a program for the cruiserweight title, but he was not allowed to win this. After that, he temporarily returned to jobber status. After that he was in a feud program with Chuck Palumbo , in which the wrestler Michelle McCool was involved. On June 25, 2008 he switched to the Monday show RAW. There he feuded for a short time with the 2008 King-of-the-Ring winner William Regal . Most recently Noble had 2 matches against Sheamus, who seriously injured him. On November 2, 2009, he played his last official match against Sheamus . Eight days later on November 10, 2009, it was announced that Jamie Noble is retiring from professional wrestling after a 14-year career due to back, neck and shoulder injuries. Since then he has worked as a trainer in the WWE.
