Sharon Marley
Sharon Marley Prendergast (* 23. November 1964 in Trench Town , Kingston ) is a Jamaican reggae - singer and actress .
Life
Sharon Marley is the firstborn daughter of Rita Marley . She was adopted by Bob Marley after her mother's marriage to Bob Marley . Together with her siblings Cedella , Ziggy and Stephen , she formed the reggae band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers .
In 1988 Marley played a supporting role in the movie Big Bad Man . On the soundtrack, she was a guest singer in the title I'm Hurting Inside of Sheryl Lee Ralph , who was released as a single with. She also sang the song Mighty Quinn with Michael Rose , Sheryl Lee Ralph and Cedella Marley.
Sharon Marley was married to football referee Peter Prendergast . From the meanwhile divorced marriage she has four children, Donisha (* 1984), Ingemar, Matthew and Peter-Shane.
She runs the Total Care Learning Center , a Montessori educational facility in the suburbs of Kingston. In 2010 she had to answer in court. She was accused of mistreating an autistic boy.
