Shefki Hysa

Shefki Hysa (born July 20, 1957 in Erseka ) is an Albanian journalist and writer.

Life

Shefki Hysa attended high school in Konispol . In 1989 graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of the University of Tirana . He continued his education on the level of journalism and international relations. After the Albanian reunification he worked from 1991 to 1997 as a journalist for the newspaper Çameria and was editor-in-chief of the newspapers Kombi and Dielli . Since its inception, he has headed the Bilal Xhaferri association and the Bilal Xhaferri publishing house. Since 1995 he has also directed the monthly magazine Krahu i shqiponjës . In the 2007 elections he was elected Secretary of the Albanian Writers' Union. Since 1997 Hysa has worked in the administration of the Albanian parliament .
