In 1988 she co- hosted Pat Robertson's talk show The 700 Club and also had her own talk show Heart to Heart with Sheila Walsh . Between 1981 and 1991, Walsh released a new album almost every year.

During the late 1990s she wrote over seventeen books, including children's books.

With Hope , Walsh released a new album in 1998 after a 7 year break. This and all subsequent albums differ significantly from the singer's previous style and can be assigned to Praise and Worship and Traditional .

Private

She was married to Norman Miller, who was then director of the Chapel Lane Records label . Miller also co-produced her second album Future Eyes . In 1986, Walsh moved to Los Angeles with her husband . The marriage ended in divorce in 1992 and she withdrew because she fell ill with depression .
