Shin Hyung-min (born July 18, 1986 in South Korea ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

society

Shin Hyung-min was educated at Hongik University. In 2008 he began his professional career with the Pohang Steelers and won the South Korean Cup there that same year. In his sophomore year as a pro, Shin Hyung-min won the 2009 AFC Champions League . At the 2009 FIFA Club World Cup , he finished third with Pohang. In 2012 he left the club and moved to the al-Jazira Club in the United Arab Emirates. After two seasons he returned to South Korea, where he joined Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors . In 2015 and 2016 he had to do his military service and played for Ansan Mugunghwa FC during that time . With his team he has won a total of four championships so far.

National team

With the U-20 national team of South Korea Shin Hyung-min took part in the 2005 World Junior Championships .

He made his senior national team debut for South Korea against Finland on January 18, 2010.
