Siddharth Dhananjay

Siddharth Dhananjay (born September 8, 1991 in Thiruvananthapuram ) is an Indian actor who mainly works in the United States .

Life

Dhananjay was born in Thiruvananthapuram , India . When he was three years old, his family moved to Jakarta , the capital of Indonesia, for his father's work . He attended Rishi Valley boarding school in Bengaluru and returned to Jakarta for high school.

In 2014 he entered college in Grinnell , Iowa . For a college film festival, he and friends produced songs known as Dhananjay The First Rap - parody videos like Say My Name by Destiny's Child and Let Me Love You by Mario , which a friend posted on the Internet. The film director Geremy Jasper became aware of this and contacted Dhananjay. He auditioned him in Utah for the role of Jheri in Patti Cake $ - Queen of Rap . After that, Dhananjay's student visa expired and he moved back to India to the city of Bengaluru to live with his aunt. He returned to the United States in 2016 after receiving feedback from the crew on Patti Cake $ . For the film, he sang several rap songs with leading actress Danielle Macdonald .

In 2018 he signed with the APA agency and was cast for the film Bloodshot , which was released in 2020. In 2019 he was seen in a series lead role in Undone .
