Leif William Sidney Boldt-Christmas (born August 8, 1924 in Gothenburg , † October 15, 2016 in Mölndal ) was a Swedish sailor .
successes
Sidney Boldt-Christmas, who was a member of the Kungliga Svenska Segelsällskapet , took part in the dragon boat class at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki . Alongside Erland Almkvist, he was a crew member of Skipper Per Gedda . With the Tornado they won one of the total of seven races and finished second with 5555 points behind Thor Thorvaldsen's Pan from Norway and ahead of Theodor Thomsens Gustel X from Germany, with which they received the silver medal.
Boldt-Christmas was an art collector, expert and auctioneer.
