Geographical location
The Mehlen settlement, comprising less than two dozen buildings, is naturally located in the Tauberberg sub-area of the Tauberland landscape . It is the easternmost place in the municipality of Werbach.
The Mehlen settlement is drained through the valley ditch , which at Brunntal flows from the right into the SET ditch , before it flows into the Welzbach from the left shortly before Werbachhausen . At Werbach the Welzbach finally flows from the right into the lower Tauber .
