Siegfried Fülle (born  October 6, 1939 in Greiz ) is a former German gymnast from the GDR. In 1964 and 1968 he won two bronze medals in the team all-around at the Olympic Games and between 1960 and 1968 he won 14 national individual titles at GDR championships.

Siegfried Fülles Heimatverein was initially the SC Lokomotive Leipzig and later the SC DHfK Leipzig , where Rudolf Schumacher was his trainer. He took from 1960 to 1968 at three Olympic Games in part and won at the Games in 1964 in Tokyo a bronze medal in the team all-around with the all-German team . Four years later he repeated this success with the GDR team at the 1968 Games in Mexico City . His best placement in an individual competition was a seventh place in the individual all-around at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome .

At the Gymnastics World Championships in 1966 , he took third place in the team all-around with the GDR team. In 1960, 1961, 1963 and 1967 he was East German champion in the individual all-around. On individual pieces of equipment he won the GDR championship titles in 1960, 1962, 1963 and 1966 in ring gymnastics , in 1959, 1963 and 1967 on the horizontal bar , in 1963 on the parallel bars , in 1966 in floor gymnastics and in 1968 in horse jumping .

Life after competitive sport

Siegfried Fülle trained after the end of his active career, among others, Klaus Köste , who was Olympic champion in horse jumping at the 1972 Games in Munich . From 1991 to 2004 he worked as a regional trainer for the Bavarian Gymnastics Association at the state performance center in Munich , during which time he also worked as a trainer for the gymnastics league team of FC Bayern Munich and as a lecturer in sports science at the University of Munich .
