Siegfried Macholz
Siegfried Macholz (born September 20, 1890 in Memel , East Prussia , † May 25, 1975 in Hanover ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
In 1909 he joined the Teutonic Order Infantry Regiment No. 152 as a flag junior . Macholz served as an officer in the First World War . In the Wehrmacht, Macholz was in command of the 122nd Infantry Division , the 49th Infantry Division and the 295th Infantry Division during World War II .
