Siegfried Wack

Siegfried Wack (born February 22, 1943 in Niedergailbach ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former district administrator in Western Pomerania .

The qualified financial economist was mayor of Gersheim in Saarland from 1974 to 1991 . After German reunification he went to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and was district administrator for the district of Ueckermünde from 1991 to 1994 . He then worked for three years as a managing director in education. From 1997 to 2004 he was district administrator for the district of Uecker-Randow . Until 2009 he was mayor of Ueckermünde . He is a member of the board of the regional planning association Vorpommern.

Siegfried Wack founded the German-Polish Society Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2004 , of which he is chairman. During his time as district administrator, he was President of the municipal community Europaregion POMERANIA eV in the Euroregion Pomerania . He is chairman of the Uecker-Randow district association of the German War Graves Commission .
