Siegmund Ehrmann
Siegmund Ehrmann (born January 24, 1952 in Moers ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the German Bundestag from 2002 to 2017 and was chairman of the committee for culture and media there
Life
After GCSEs came Ehrmann in 1968 to serve the city of Moers and completed here training in management . He graduated from a technical college in 1973 with a degree in administrative management (FH). 1988 took over the management of the Ehrmann personnel and organizational office of the city Moers until 1994 Head of the Department of Personnel and culture was. Ehrmann has been a member of the SPD since 1970 and has been chairman of the SPD city association in Moers since March 2004. Ehrmann was a member of the German Bundestag from 2002 to 2017 . He always entered the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency Krefeld II - Wesel II , which includes Moers , Neukirchen-Vluyn and the north of Krefeld . In the 2009 Bundestag elections , he received 39.6% of the first votes .
From 2003 to 2007 he was the spokesman for the working group of the SPD parliamentary group for the Enquête Commission on Culture in Germany , of which he was deputy chairman from 2006. From 2005 he was a member of the board of the Berlin Network , an association of progressive SPD members of the Bundestag. In the 17th legislative period (2009-2013) he was the cultural policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group . In 2014 he was elected chairman of the Culture and Media Committee, of which he has been a member since 2002. From 2005 to 2009 he already held the deputy chairmanship.
For the general election in 2017 Ehrmann came not more.
