σ Librae ( Sigma Librae , short σ Lib ) is a red giant on the AGB development path . It has an apparent magnitude of 3.2 mag, is about 400 light years away, and is located in the constellation Libra .
The star bears the historical proper names Brachium , Cornu , Zubenalgubi . He originally carried the Bayer designation γ Scorpii (Gamma Scorpii).
