Sigo Lorfeo

Sigo Lorfeo (born February 13, 1953 in Torchiarolo , Italy ) is an Italian actor , singer , screenwriter and director .

Life

After finishing secondary school, Lorfeo first attended a seafaring school. In 1969 he moved to Cologne , where he was trained as a primary school teacher. In 1975 he founded the bilingual ensemble “Collettivo Teatrale”, with which he presented sensitive singing with poetic texts on stage until 1983. Lorfeo took acting lessons at the Cologne drama school der Keller . Numerous theater engagements followed, as well as cinema and television productions. At the same time, Lorfeo is also frequently active as a voice actor. In his home town of Bergisch Gladbach he is a VHS lecturer and gives language courses for “Italian”.

From 1991 to 2003 (episode 301 to 898), Sigo Lorfeo played the role of Paolo Varese in the WDR permanent series Lindenstrasse , after he had already played a small supporting role in the series in 1990 (episode 254). He also played roles in the series A Case for Two , Adelheid and Her Murderers or Tatort .

After leaving Lindenstrasse, Lorfeo devoted himself more to music, performing together with a guitarist with his own songs and songs by Paolo Conte . Lorfeo contributed to a CD with South American songs.

In 2008 the short film The Conversion was made , on which Lorfeo worked as a screenwriter and director.

Today Lorfeo lives with his wife and their two children near Cologne.
