Abduction from Lindenstrasse is a German television film that was produced in 1995 on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the television series Lindenstrasse by George Moorse, among others with actors from the series.
action
The ARD television series Lindenstrasse is to be discontinued after ten years. The chief programmer of the GEZ Detlef Hase, as a big fan of the favorite series, is extremely outraged and is looking for a way out of the dilemma. During the filming he appears in the studio unnoticed and kidnaps Marie-Luise Marjan directly behind the scenes. He takes them to an empty lock that belongs to a distant relative and demands that Lindenstrasse continue to be produced, otherwise he would delete the data of all GEZ payers. As a sign of his ability, he deletes the data of the city of Bad Schwartau . In doing so, however, he reveals his identity and while searching his apartment, the police find a map on which the location of the lock is marked. However, Hase manages to escape from the SEK together with Marie-Luise Marjan, who is now on his side, and holed up in the computer room of the GEZ headquarters. He was arrested there a little later, but managed to activate a computer virus beforehand, which now automatically deletes the GEZ data and can only be deactivated by him. Therefore, the demand for a continuation of Lindenstrasse is finally given in, officially because of the numerous demonstrators who are demanding the same. In the last scene, Hase is visited by Marie-Luise Marjan in prison and she offers him to start as an actor on Lindenstrasse after serving his sentence.

The protagonist Detlef Hase is played by Herbert Feuerstein , Marie-Luise Marjan and Fritz Pleitgen , the director of the WDR , appear as themselves. In addition, almost all members of the Lindenstrasse ensemble at that time were involved in other roles.

Cover in the series
In ep. 528 on Lindenstrasse, Herbert Feuerstein makes a brief appearance as a chimney sweep, whom Helga Beimer meets in front of the house entrance, addressing her by name and also seems to adore her. This could be interpreted as keeping the promise to Detlef Hase.
In ep. 576 you can see an excerpt from the kidnapping from Lindenstrasse on television. Erich then says to Helga: "We could actually have saved the cable fees: twenty-seven programs, and just crap."
