Ludwig Haas (born April 16, 1933 in Eutin ) is a German actor .

Life

Ludwig Haas graduated from high school in Eutin in 1950 . From 1951 to 1953 he attended the Hamburg University of Music and Theater .

He became known in the role of "Dr. Ludwig Dressler ”in the WDR series Lindenstrasse , which he embodied from episode 1 (December 8, 1985) to episode 1754 (March 1, 2020).

He has made a name for himself internationally as a film actor for Adolf Hitler , whom he played in Broken Chains - The Prisoner's Revenge (1988), Like a Light in Dark Night (1992) and in the French film Pétain (1993).

Private

Ludwig Haas is married to Marianne Simon-Haas. They have a daughter together and live in Neumünster in Schleswig-Holstein. The couple also live in Sant Elm on Mallorca.
