Sybille Waury (born May 9, 1970 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actress .

Life

From 1985 to 2020, Waury was one of the leading actresses as Tanja Schildknecht in the ARD series Lindenstrasse, produced by WDR and GFF . She was there from episode 2 to the last episode (1758). For her portrayal of Tanja , Waury was awarded the Bambi and the Golden Camera .

Parallel to Lindenstrasse , Waury has also appeared in several other roles in film and television. As Dorothée it is in the five films about the doppelganger Schulz & Schulz alongside Götz George doing, Doris Dorrie gave her in money , the role of Natasha Müller (movie daughter of Uwe Ochsenknecht ) and Dominik Graf hired her for his film The winners . In Sigi Rothemund's radio station , Waury plays the role of Lisette . She also had guest roles in series, including as Margot in Heidi and Erni , as Michaela in Hilfe, my family is crazy and as Irene in the series Stories from Home . Waury was also the host of the Käpt'n Blaubär Club .

Waury completed her acting training in London, among other places . She studied Japanese Studies, Art History and German at the University of Cologne . At the theater she appeared as Mowgli in the Jungle Book and as Abigail in witch hunt . Waury has already had theater engagements in Bochum , Hamburg , Aachen , Cologne and Neersen . In Kyoto , she also played the Seiobo in Shinji Takabayashi's production of Chikubushima .

Waury is married to the screenwriter Joachim Friedmann and lives with him and their two daughters in Berlin . Since 2011 she has also been working as a Shiatsu practitioner in Berlin .
