The Siikajoki is a river in the Finnish landscape of Northern Ostrobothnia .
The 160 km long river has its origin in the municipality of Pyhäntä on the border with Kainuu . It flows in a predominantly north-westerly direction and reaches the Gulf of Bothnia after about 160 km near the city of the same name, Siikajoki . It flows past the places Siikalatva , Rantsila and Ruukki . Important tributaries are the Lamujoki , as well as Pyhännänjoki , Mulkuanjoki , Neittävänjoki and Luohuanjoki . The catchment area covers 4318 km².
