Silberbach is a district of Konradsreuth in the Hof district in Upper Franconia .
Silberbach is on the district road HO 7 between Konradsreuth and Oberpferdt .
Architectural monuments are a stable house and a cross stone . A farmer is said to have been killed by his servant at the site of the cross. There are three crosses incised on the front and a battle hammer on the back . The mineral omphacite was first discovered in a quarry near Silberbach . The place name as well as the field name in the Sicherts indicate that silver was washed out.
In 1390 Silberbach consisted of new properties, eight of which were hospital loans . In 1495 there were 34 people living in the village. According to Ernst, Silberbach in 1868 consisted of 20 houses with 27 families or 112 residents. In 1959 there were 246 inhabitants. Before it was incorporated into Konradsreuth, the place formed a community association with several neighboring villages.
