Silver Bear / Best Score
The Silver Bear for the best film music honored the best performance by a film composer in a competition film (feature film) at the annual Berlin Film Festival . The award was first presented at the 52nd edition of the film festival in 2002 . The international jury, made up of filmmakers, voted on the award of the prize.
The price category was last awarded in 2007 . At the 58th Film Festival the following year, the British film composer Jonny Greenwood ( There Will Be Blood ) was honored with a Silver Bear in the " Outstanding Artistic Achievement " category, which has existed since 1978 .
