The silver lining armored catfish ( Corydoras agassizii ) is a small freshwater ornamental fish of the genus Corydoras . It becomes 5 to 7 inches long.

features

The males are somewhat smaller and more intensely colored; the dorsal fin is higher and more pointed; the females grow a little larger and have a fuller belly area.

Occurrence

The silver lining catfish lives in the rivers and streams of tropical South America in the Amazon basin , near the borders of Peru and Brazil .
