The Sillaro is a river in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna in Italy , which flows into the Reno after 66 km .

course

The Sillaro rises in the municipality of Firenzuola in the metropolitan city of Florence in Tuscany. After a few kilometers he reaches the Emilia-Romagna region near Giugnola, a district of Firenzuola and Castel del Rio ( Metropolitan City of Bologna ). Then it reaches the municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme and Castel Guelfo di Bologna . Here it leaves the province of Bologna and flows through Conselice ( province of Ravenna ). In Argenta he enters the province of Ferrara . After 66 km it flows into the Reno , practically together with the Idice river . The Sillaro forms the historical border between Emilia and Romagna or between the dialect areas.
