After a few kilometers he reaches the Emilia-Romagna region near Giugnola, a district of Firenzuola and Castel del Rio ( Metropolitan City of Bologna ). Then it reaches the municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme and Castel Guelfo di Bologna . Here it leaves the province of Bologna and flows through Conselice ( province of Ravenna ).
