Silviya Svejenova

Silviya Svejenova Velikova (also spelled Silwija Sweschenowa Velikowa , Bulgarian Силвия Свеженова Великова ; born October 21, 1973 ) is a Bulgarian economist and professor of the Business Policy Department of the ESADE Business School in Barcelona , where she teaches strategy and entrepreneurship. In addition, Svejenova is a "Professor with Special Responsibilities" at Copenhagen Business School .

Life

After completing her master's degree at the University of Economics in Varna , Svejenova studied business management at the IESE Business School in Navarra , where she also received her doctorate ( Doctora en Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales ). She deepened her knowledge with postgraduate studies in Navarre and the Harvard Business School .

She worked as a lecturer at the Cranfield School of Management in Great Britain , the ESCI Business School in Barcelona and the University of Economics in Varna and worked as a research associate in the chair of general management at the IESE Business School.

In addition to her academic activities, Svejenova teaches in advanced training programs in Spain, Germany, France, Latvia, Luxembourg, Portugal, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Your course "International Entrepreneurship" was named course of the year 2008 by CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education).

Svejenova has been a member of the EGOS board since 2004 and has been co-organizing EGOS Colloquia on creative industries since 2002. In 2011 she became the deputy chairwoman of EGOS.

Areas of interest

Svejenova conducts research in general organizational theory , strategy and entrepreneurship , examines innovative business models, models of creativity , management and growth in creative industries, interpersonal and inter-organizational networks, co-leadership and other topics.
