Simeon Williamson (born January 16, 1986 in Islington , London ) is a British athlete and bobsledder .

Williamson starts for the Highgate Harriers . At the Junior European Championships in 2005 he finished second in 10.52 s over 100 meters , one hundredth of a second behind his compatriot Craig Pickering . At the U23 European Championships in 2007 , he won the title ahead of Pickering in 10.10 s. In 10.22 s he also won the title at the Universiade in Bangkok. After a seventh place at the World Indoor Championships in 2008 , he was eliminated from the 2008 Olympic Games in the quarter-finals.

At the 2009 European Indoor Championships Williamson finished fourth in the sprint. Williamson was the British champion outdoors. At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin , however, he was eliminated again in the quarterfinals. The British 4 x 100 meter relay with the cast Williamson, Tyrone Edgar , Marlon Devonish and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey won the bronze medal behind the relay from Jamaica and from Trinidad and Tobago in 38.02 s. In 2010 and 2011 Williamson was sidelined due to an injury. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , he was a substitute runner for the British relay.

Williamson's competition weight is 95 kg with a height of 1.86 m. His best time over 100 meters since 2008 is 10.03 s.

Williamson has been pushing bobsleigh since the 2014/15 season . With the pilot Bradley Hall he made his debut in La Plagne in December 2014 in the European Bobsleigh Cup, where they finished eleventh. Then he drove with Oliver Biddulph and Ben Simons in the European Cup. With Biddulph, Williamson contested his first race in the World Cup in January 2015 in St. Moritz and finished 27th. After he competed in other World Cup races with Hall, he was placed at Lamin Deen for the 2015 Bobsleigh World Championships , with whom he was 14th in the two-man bobsleigh and eighth in the team race.
