Simmone Jacobs

Kim Simmone Geraldine Jacobs (born September 5, 1966 in Reading ) is a former British sprinter .

In 1984 she won bronze with the British team in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . At the Commonwealth Games in 1986 , she was fourth for England starting over 200 m . She reached the quarter-finals at the World Athletics Championships in 1987 in Rome over 100 m and at the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 over 100 m and 200 m.

In 1990 she was seventh over 100 m at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and won silver in the relay with the English team. With the British relay she got bronze in the same year at the European Athletics Championships in Split . Over 200 m she reached the semi-finals at the 1991 World Cup in Tokyo and the quarter-finals at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.

After bronze in the relay at the relay bronze at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria and a run-off over 100 m at the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg, she took part in her fourth Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 . Over 100 m and 200 m, she reached the quarter-finals, in the relay she came in eighth.

At the 1997 World Cup in Athens, she was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run and over 200 m in the quarterfinals. The following year she completed her international career with another bronze medal in the relay at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur .
