Simon Baker (born February 13, 1973 in Geelong , Australia ) is a former Australian- German squash player .

Career

Simon Baker played on the PSA World Tour in the early 1990s and won two titles on it. In 1991 he was the only time in the main draw at the World Cup , he was eliminated against Brett Martin in the first round.

In May 2005 he received German citizenship . Seven months later he took part in the World Cup with the German national team. The following year he won the German championship after beating Jens Schoor in the final and was also part of the squad at the European championship . With the Sport-Insel Stuttgart he became German champion in the 1st Bundesliga and then won the European Cup with the club .
