Simon Dyson (born December 21, 1977 in York ) is an English professional golfer on the European Tour . Because of his high, almost hectic pace of play he is called "Mr. Busy" by his fellow players.

He finished second in the 1999 English Amateur Championship as an amateur , won the Finnish amateur title and was on the victorious Walker Cup team of Great Britain & Ireland. In the autumn of the same year he hit a professional career.

Dyson, whose father Terry was a successful footballer, first played on the Asian Tour and won three tournaments there. He has been playing regularly and consistently on the European Tour since 2001 and won his first tour title in March 2006. At the Austrian Open in June 2006, Dyson was for a long time the first pursuer of Markus Brier and finally took third place in this well-filled tournament. In August he won his second tournament on the European Tour, the traditional KLM Open , in a jump-off against the Australian Richard Green . Three years later, Dyson was able to repeat this success - again after the playoff. In 2011 he won that tournament a third time.
