Simon Hallström (born January 4, 1991 ) is a Swedish biathlete and cross-country skier .
Simon Hallström initially started for Idre Sk , now for Lima SKG . He competed in his first international cross-country skiing races since 2010, especially in junior and FIS races , and since 2012 in the Scandinavian Cup . Several times he was able to achieve top ten placements, but he did not make the breakthrough in the sport.
Hallström has also been taking part in biathlon internationally since 2012. Here he made his debut at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2012 in Kontiolahti , where a 22nd place in the sprint was the best result. At the start of the 2013/14 season , the first men's races in the performance category followed in Idre ; In his first sprint he missed the points as 46th. He achieved this a little later as the 25th of a sprint in Beitostølen . It is also the Swede's best result so far in this racing series. The debut in the biathlon world cup followed . In Oberhof Hallström qualified in his first sprint race as 51st for the pursuit, which he finished 58th.
