Simon Lopuyet

Simon Lopuyet (born December 24, 1972 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 1994 and 1995 he won the Tilburg Ten Miles . In 1997 he won the half marathon course of the Paderborn Easter run and set his best time of 2:08:19 as fourth in the Rotterdam marathon . In 2001 he finished third in the Hamburg Marathon and won the Cologne Marathon . In 2004 he won the Münster Marathon and in 2005 the Hanover Marathon .

In 2003 he acted as a pacemaker for Paula Radcliffe's world record.
