Simon Skrabb (born January 19, 1995 ) is a Finnish football player . The 172 centimeter tall midfielder has been under contract with IFK Norrköping since 2017 .
At the age of six, Simon Skrabb began playing football at FF Jaro from Jakobstad in western Finland . After devoting himself to hockey for four years , he returned to football at the age of 11; the following year he was invited to a training camp for the English club Liverpool FC .
Skrabb was in the professional squad of FF Jaro for the first time in the 2011 season . In the 0-1 away defeat against Rovaniemen Palloseura , the Finn made his debut in the top division, the Veikkausliiga, on May 6, 2011 . Six days later, Skrabb scored his first goal in the Finnish top division; in the 3-1 away win over Turku PS , he became the youngest league scorer of all time at the age of 16 years and 113 days.
With a remarkable hit at the end of October 2015, he caused an international stir.
In December 2016, the Swedish first division club IFK Norrköping signed Skrabb, who signed a four-year contract valid until 2020.
The Finn has so far been used for the junior national teams in the U-15, U-16, U-17 , U-18 , U-19 , U-20 and U-21 age groups .
