Simone Buchanan (born March 11, 1968 in Marrickville , Sydney ) is an Australian actress who, in particular, through the series Hey Dad! , Up and Away and Pacific Drive became famous.

Life

Simone Buchanan was born in Marrickville, a suburb of Sydney in 1968 . There she attended Avalon Primary School as a child . The Buchanan family produced several actors. Her sister Beth played in Serie neighbors (Neighbors) with and her brother Miles plays theater.

Simone Buchanan got her first roles in Australian children's series on ABC Government Broadcasting Network . In 1982 she played one of the leading roles in the series Runaway Island , which ran on television in Germany under the name Auf und vom. In 1986 she also got a leading role in the sitcom Hey Dad! . Until 1990 she played the role of Debbie Kelly.

Later she got some roles in various television games and series. She received special attention as a rape victim in the film Shame . Simone Buchanan's last major role was in the series Pacific Drive .

In 1998 she had a son and retired from the television business because of her son's upbringing. Since 2005 she can be seen in front of the camera again.
