Wild comes from Adliswil near Zurich and is a member of the Flumserberg ski club in the canton of St. Gallen . From November 2009, as a 15-year-old, she took part in FIS races . The first victory at this stage followed in January 2011. In December of the same year, she came to the first appearances in the European Cup , but countable results were initially missing. She made her debut in the World Cup on December 15, 2013 in St. Moritz , where she finished 33rd in the giant slalom. Three weeks later she finished in the points for the first time in the European Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2014 in Jasná she finished 9th in the giant slalom. In the 2014/15 season she began to establish herself close to the top in European Cup races with regular top 10 results.
On December 7th, 2015 Wild achieved a European Cup podium for the first time as second in the Trysil giant slalom . Five days later, on December 12th, 2015, she surprised with 8th place in the World Cup giant slalom in Åre , with which she won World Cup points for the first time. She won her first European Cup on February 13, 2016 in the giant slalom in Borovets . With second place in the discipline ranking, Wild secured a fixed starting place for the 2016/17 World Cup season. Her best World Cup result so far is fourth place in the giant slalom in Lenzerheide on January 27, 2018.
