Sistanova was a German three-man Pop & R & B - girl group from Frankfurt , founded of 2005.

Band history

Rola Madirose Hinterbichler and Kisita Elizabeth Massamba had known each other since childhood and were close friends. In a school after-school care center they began to occupy themselves with dancing and singing. In 2004 the two met Viviane Meyer, with whom they became friends and together they founded the band Black Supremes.

The band competed in regional competitions and recorded demos . Viviane's mother sent one to the Noizemakers production team , who signed the Black Supremes under the new name Sistanova . The band was produced by Christopher Applegate, among others. In 2006 the band was signed by the record company Warner Music Germany.

On September 21, 2007 their first single Was ist los? , which rose to number 76 in the German charts and stayed in the charts for two weeks. In November 2007, Sistanova performed four concerts as the opening act for the Barbadian singer Rihanna . They also supported the band Rapsoul as the opening act for their “roller coaster” tour across Germany.

On December 5, 2008, her debut album Incredible was released.

In 2010 the band broke up. According to their MySpace page, all band members will continue on solo paths.

Viviane Meyer was born on June 2, 1989 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe . Her father is Cameroonian and her mother is from Indonesia . They later moved to Indonesia, where they lived for a few years. From there they moved to Paris and returned to Germany a few years later. Viviane finished school with a secondary school certificate.

Keyliza

Kisita Elizabeth Massamba was born on December 11, 1989 in Hanau . Her parents are from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola . At the age of four she moved to Frankfurt am Main with her parents. Kisita also finished her school with a secondary school certificate. Since 2011 she has been producing music under the pseudonym DJ Queen Of Beats . Her stage name "KeyLiza" is a play on words from her two first names.

Rola

Rola Madirose Hinterbichler was born on February 12, 1990 in Accra , Ghana . Her mother is from Ghana, her father is Lebanese of Armenian origin. At the age of three she moved to Frankfurt am Main, where she grew up with her mother and stepfather from Bavaria. Rola graduated from school with a technical college entrance qualification. Hinterbichler took part in The Voice of Germany in 2011 .

Others

As a song for Mother's Day they wrote the ballad Mama , for which a video was also made. With Thomas Anders , Sistanova sang the title song Targets for the CD supplement to the children's book Die HelleWecks .
