The Sisu is a Finnish icebreaker of Urho- or Atle class , which in 1971 Wärtsilä - shipyard in Helsinki was ordered. The Sisu is 101.6 meters long and 23.8 meters wide. She has a draft of 8.3 meters. With a wave power of 16.2  megawatts , it reaches a speed of 19 knots in open water . Her home port is Helsinki.

The Sisu and her sister ship Urho were Finland's largest icebreakers until the Polaris was built. The name is derived from the Finnish term sisu .

The ship is owned by Arctia Shipping Oy, the successor company to the Finnish Shipping Enterprise (FINSTASHIP).
