Siwani is a small town in the northern Indian state of Haryana .

The city is located in the North Indian Plain, 120 km west-northwest of the federal capital New Delhi . It is the seat of the eponymous Tehsils in the Bhiwani district . The district capital Bhiwani is located 50 km east-southeast of Siwani. Siwani is also 30 km south-southwest of the city of Hisar . The Hisar – Sadulpur railway runs through Siwani.

Siwani has been a Municipal Committee since October 18, 2001 . The city is divided into 13 wards . Siwani had 19,140 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The gender ratio was 888 women for 1,000 men. Almost the entire population was made up of Hindus .
