The Sixty Group SpA is an Italian fashion company in 1989 by Vittorio Hassan and Renato Rossi founded, based in Chieti . It creates, produces and sells clothing , leather goods , shoes , accessories and perfumes for women and men under several well-known labels.
The design focuses on originality and quality, in a high price category. The labels are represented in over 7000 stores in 96 countries, 502 of which are currently own stores. The market with the highest turnover after Italy is Germany.
According to his own statement, Vittorio Hassan created the design for eight of the group's ten brands himself. The creative laboratory for this is located in a city villa behind the Piazza del Popolo in Rome .
history
It was in the 1980s when Vittorio Hassan - also Wichy Hassan - opened his first own shop. He bought clothes all over the world, he called the project "Energy".
Then, in 1989, Vittorio Hassan began designing his own clothing under the Energie label . He worked old Mexican fabrics into the seams of trousers, which, according to Hassan, immediately developed into a cult in Rome. Thus the company Sixty Srl was founded.
Soon after, the company's headquarters were relocated to Abruzzo, where friends had a small factory. Vittorio Hassan took on the creative part, Renato Rossi the business management. In 1995 the company went public and was renamed Sixty SpA .
Since Hassan insisted on designing a separate brand for each target group, the group now has ten labels: Energie , Sixty , Miss Sixty , Murphy & Nye , Killah , RefrigiWear , K-Blost , Baracuta , Bandit du Mond and Richlu . Seven labels come from the pen of the chief designer himself, RefrigiWear, K-Blost and Murphy & Nye have been acquired.
Sixty SpA began expanding abroad in Germany , but its first foreign store is located in the USA . The Sixty Group has established subsidiaries in the most important foreign markets . Today, the Sixty Group's main goal is to expand its business in the US and Eastern Europe while it has to downsize its business in Europe. The Asian expansion, which began in 2005 with the opening of a store in South Korea , is to be continued through further growth in Singapore , Indonesia and Thailand as well as the opening of own stores in Delhi and Mumbai .
