The Vordere Walachenkopf ( Polish Skrajny Wołoszyn , also called Zadny Garb ) is a mountain in the Polish High Tatras with an altitude of 2092 m npm
Location and surroundings
Below the summit are the Roztokatal and Waksmunder Tal valleys .
Neighboring peaks in the massif of Walachenköpfe ( Wołoszyn ) are the Bank Berg ( Wierch nad Zagonnym Żlebem ) and the Mean Walachenkopf ( Pośredni Wołoszyn ) carried by it through the lower Walachensattel ( Niżnia Wołoszyńska Przełęcz is separated).
etymology
The name Skrajny Wołoszyn can be translated as Outer Wołoszyn .
tourism
The Skrajny Wołoszyn was part of the Orla Perć high-altitude trail from 1903 to 1932 . However, the section from the Krzyżne mountain pass to the Polana pod Wołoszynem mountain pasture was closed in 1932. Since then, the area has been a strict nature reserve. It is not accessible to hikers.
