The Wierch nad Zagonnym Żlebem , also called Zagonny Wierch , is a mountain in the Polish High Tatras with an altitude of 2039 m npm
Location and surroundings
Below the summit lie the Dolina Roztoki and Dolina Waksmundzka valleys .
Neighboring peaks in the Wołoszyn massif are Skrajny Wołoszyn and Turnia nad Dziadem , which is separated from it by the Karbik mountain pass , as well as Turnia nad Szczotami and Roztocka Turniczka .
etymology
The name Wierch nad Zagonnym Żlebem can be translated as the summit above the Zagonny Couloir .
tourism
The Wierch nad Zagonnym Żlebem was part of the Orla Perć high-altitude trail from 1903 to 1932 . However, the section from the Krzyżne mountain pass to the Polana pod Wołoszynem mountain pasture was closed in 1932. Since then, the area has been a strict nature reserve. It is not accessible to hikers.
