The Slatina ( Hungarian Szalatna ) is a 55 km long left tributary of the Hron in Slovakia .
The river has its source in the Poľana Mountains north of the town of Hriňová . After Hriňová it flows mainly in a westerly direction through Detva , Zvolenská Slatina to the mouth at Zvolen .
