The Slatinný potok (German Filzbach , in sections also Gerlbach and Neubrunster Bach ) is a right tributary of the Křemelná in the Czech Republic .
course
The Slatinný potok rises on the eastern slope of the Pancíř (1214 m nm) in the Bohemian Forest . On its upper course, which initially leads to the east, the brook falls steeply from the Pancířský hřbet ( armored ridge) to the Kochánovské pláně ( Kocheter plateau ). In the settlement of Nový Brunst ( Neubrunst ) the Slatinný potok takes on numerous small moor streams and changes its direction to the southeast and flows through the Gerlwald to Gerlova Huť ( Gerlhütte ); this section is part of the Prameniště nature reserve. The stream is then crossed by the E 53 / state road I / 27 between Klatovy and Železná Ruda. Then the Slatinný potok flows into the area of the Šumava National Park . There the watercourse, previously called Neubrunster Bach , reaches the Gerlova Pila ( Gerlsäge ) desert , where the Gerlův potok ( Gerlbach ) flows into; below the creek wore on his middle reaches to the confluence of the creek Sklářský ( border river ) the German name Gerlbach . The middle reaches of the Slatinný potok leads in a shallow swampy ground through the woods south of the Gerlova paseka (996 m nm) past the desert areas Popelní Domky ( Ascherlhäusel ), Oberrichtersäge and Neuhurkenthaler paper mill. At its lower part, the stream flows past Slučí Tah ( snipe ) and Paseka ( felling ). North of the Cettlova Hůrka ( Hurka ) desert , the Slatinný potok forms an increasingly deeper valley. After 11.5 kilometers the Slatinný potok joins the Křemelná below the former Glaserwaldmühle . The catchment area covers 31.1 km², the flow rate at the mouth is 0.75 m³ / s.
The course of the stream leads almost exclusively through forests.
