Slatomir Sdrawkow ( Bulgarian Златомир Здравков ; born April 6, 1985 in Sofia ) is a former Bulgarian natural track tobogganist . He started in the single seater and together with Galabin Bozew in the double seater and took part in World Cup races as well as in World and European Championships from 2004 to 2006 .

Career

Slatomir Sdrawkow took in January 2004 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the first time in World Cup races in part. He achieved 37th place in the single-seater as penultimate and twelfth place in the double-seater with Galabin Bozew as the last. In the 2003/2004 season these were his only World Cup starts. He then took part in the Junior World Championships in Kindberg and the European Championships in Hüttau that winter , where he also only achieved placements in the bottom field. At the Junior World Championships he was 33rd in the singles and eighth in the doubles and at the European Championships 44th in the singles and 16th in the doubles.

In the next winter his results improved a little and at the end of the 2004/2005 season he reached 31st place out of 40 rated tobogganists in the single-seater World Cup race in Olang . In total, he had competed in four single-seater World Cup races this winter. In the two-seater, he took part in three races with Galabin Bozew, with the duo always finishing tenth. At the 2005 World Championships in Laces , Sdrawkow was 42nd in the single-seater among 47 rated luge riders and eleventh among 13 rated pairs in the doubles. The double Sdrawkow / Bozew took part in the World Cup together with Melissa Jones and Kaj Johnson as a Canadian- Bulgarian team in the team competition, but only achieved tenth and last place.

In the 2005/2006 season Sdrawkow - like the entire Bulgarian team - only took part in the first three of the six World Cup races. With positions around 35th in the single-seater and two ninth and eleventh places in the doubles, he achieved similar results as in the previous year. This was also the case at the 2006 European Championships in Umhausen , where he took 38th place out of 43 rated tobogganers in the single seater and twelfth and third from last place in the doubles with Galabin Bozew. While Galabin Bozew continued to take part in competitions after this winter, Slatomir Sdrawkow ended his career at the end of the 2005/2006 season.
